You know that moment when you’re reading a book and you just have to stop and bite your lip and squeal or sigh or close your eyes and wrinkle your nose and forehead and press the book against your heart and just like sit there and try to soak up the gorgeous literature via osmosis?

I have one on my arm that sits, apparently, above a rather large vein.
And then there is a discoloration on my back between my shoulder blades that looks like someone smudged dirt there.
Okay so I was shot in my arm and stabbed in the back apparently.
I have one right next to my left eye.
I also have one low on the right part of my abdomen.
And the best one is the one that runs from the base of my hairline all the way up the back of my skull.
I have one right at the base of my spine. Got stabbed?

I don’t have a birthmark? Cancer? Old age death??

I know I should be studying or writing or doing anything vaguely productive, but I can’t bring myself to do it. Maybe because everything is so overwhelming, with finals starting on Friday but I just can’t do it. There is too much stuff to be done and so many people counting on me and every time someone tells me there’s something else I have to do, I can’t. Life is too stressful right now for me to do anything except wander around and sulk. And I’m a stress eater, did I mention that, so that’s not helping anyone. I’ve literally been throwing myself off of walls because my mind is bouncing back and forth and I just want it to relax. I just want to be able to sleep because I haven’t had a good night’s sleep in…well, I don’t even know how long. I just want my brain to shut up, along with everyone else around me because it’s too much and sure, school is almost out and I can see summer around the corner but that isn’t much better, because then I have to spend two and a half months with my family and their nonsense without my friends, without CSSSA, and without any hope for next year. Because if I’m stressing now, next year my head will really explode.
